Navigation

Tabs, keyboard shortcuts, the catalog, saved queries, history, favorites, and detached windows.

Navigation is tab-first. Almost everything you open — a table, a query, a structure inspector — is a center tab tied to a connection. The catalog and command palette are how you get there without hunting menus.

Keyboard

Pin / unpin, split pane, close tabs to the left/right, and Open Home have no global shortcut — use the tab ⋯ menu or the application menus. Keybindings are compiled into the app; there is no user keymap file yet.

Tabs

• Open from the catalog, palette, Saved, History, or by connecting (workspace bootstrap tabs).
• Close from ⋯ → Close tab or ⌘W. Last tab closed → Home respawns.
• Pin from the tab ⋯ menu so the tab survives Close all / Close others.
• Split the dock from View or ⋯ (top / bottom / left / right).
• Open in new window on ⋯ detaches that panel. One pop-out per panel. Closing the main window closes pop-outs and quits.

Session restore remembers tab specs, the active tab, and pins in local metadata storage (not in git).

Catalog

Select a connection to load its schema cache. Search filters objects. Double-click or context Open Data opens a data viewer tab (deduped). Open Structure opens the inspector for Postgres and SQLite tables and views.
